Magna Parva was founded in 2005 by the Directors; Andy Bowyer and Miles Ashcroft with the aim of providing value adding engineering services to the Space sector whilst developing unique, innovative market disruptive technologies.

Today Magna Parva has an experienced team of design, development, systems, assembly, integration, verification, test engineers and has a strong heritage delivering not only R&D developments but also commercial mission critical services. The team is supported with  a range of facilities including test and clean assembly.

The company is focussed on markets with the most hostile of environmental requirements with 90% of our work being for the Space Industry – the remainder is made up of complimentary activities in Defence, Oil & Gas and Diagnostics.

In 2014 we entered into a Joint Venture with one of the worlds largest beverage can manufacturers Rexam PLC to exploit Space technology, the spin out Company; MPP is now a highly successful technology development Company in that market.

Magna Parva prides itself on having an active outreach programme encouraging all our engineers to become STEM ambassadors. We regularly host school visits and are a co-founder of the unique Higher Apprenticeship in Space Engineering with 2 apprentices currently going through the programme. We are also honored to support the National Space Academy  regular events.

Our Offices and Labs are situated next to the National Space Centre on a new technology park, part of the City of Leicester and University of Leicester’s planned National Space Park.
